Program Structure

• Module 1: The Event Ecosystem and Why It Matters
  • Learn what events are, how they work, and why they matter to communities and the economy.
• Module 2: How Events Are Created and Where You Fit
  • Understand how events are planned and delivered, and where entry-level roles fit in.
• Module 3: Risk, Safety, and Professional Standards
  • Learn how to stay safe, recognize risks, and meet professional expectations on-site.
• Module 4: Event Day Execution: Communication and Performance
  • Prepare for real event conditions, including teamwork, communication, and fast decision-making.
• Module 5: Workforce Activation
  • Learn how to get hired, prepare for roles, and take the next steps into event work.

Assessment

• Each module includes a short quiz
• You must score 80% or higher to pass
• You may retake quizzes as needed

Program Modules:

MODULE 1: THE EVENT ECOSYSTEM AND WHY IT MATTERS
Introduces foundational event terminology, the event lifecycle, stakeholder roles, and the economic and community impact of events. Participants develop baseline industry literacy required for workforce participation.

MODULE 2: HOW EVENTS ARE CREATED AND WHERE YOU FIT
Explains how events are operationally built and delivered. Covers workforce structures, reporting hierarchies, venue environments, vendors and common entry-level roles. Participants gain clarity on where they fit within live event operations.

MODULE 3: RISK, SAFETY, AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
Builds operational awareness of common event-related hazards, basic safety protocols, escalation procedures, and expectations for professional conduct. Emphasizes situational awareness and workplace accountability.

MODULE 4: EVENT DAY EXECUTION: COMMUNICATION AND PERFORMANCE
Prepares participants for the pace and structure of live event environments. Focuses on command hierarchy, communication standards, teamwork, and task execution during real-time operations.

MODULE 5: WORKFORCE ACTIVATION
Guides participants through the practical steps required to secure event roles. Covers hiring timelines, onboarding expectations, professional follow-up, and strategies for continued workforce engagement.

Workforce Connection Platform

Participants who complete the program will receive complimentary access to a workforce connection platform designed to support career exploration and employer engagement within the hospitality and event industries.

The platform serves as a bridge between certified learners and employers seeking talent for internships, part-time positions, full-time roles, project-based opportunities, and event staffing support related to mega events and hospitality operations.
